In modern buildings, elevators have long become an indispensable vertical transportation equipment for high-rise living and commercial facilities. Although people pay more attention to its control system or traction machine performance, from the perspective of engineers, each fastener is the real "invisible hero" guarding safe operation.
1. Fasteners are the first line of defense for structural connections
Elevator guide rails, car frames, counterweight systems, door machines, buffers and other key components all rely on fasteners such as bolts, metal brackets, and Slotted shims for installation and positioning. Any loose connection may cause component offset, operation jitter or even safety accidents.
2. Dealing with vibration and impact: high-performance fasteners are indispensable

● Electrophoretic coating (environmentally friendly, uniform, and beautiful)
● Stainless steel (chemical corrosion resistance, long service life)

5. Engineering details example
In the installation of buffer switch brackets, high-strength bolts with shear resistance are usually used and supplemented with positioning pins to ensure that they will not move in emergency conditions. At the connection between the car rail and the beam, T-slot bolts are often used with customized connecting plates to achieve rapid positioning and strong clamping.
In addition, welding studs, U-shaped clamps, torsion shear bolts, etc. are also commonly found in elevator structural frames, which have the advantages of convenient construction and high safety redundancy.
6. Regular inspection and maintenance
After the elevator is installed, engineers will regularly use torque wrenches to re-inspect key connection points to ensure that the bolt preload meets the standards and avoid loosening or stripping due to vibration. Although these inspection processes seem simple, they are the key guarantee to avoid accidents.
