What is the service life of the elevator door slider bracket?
Important elements influencing service life
1. Material quality of the bracket:
Because of their superior mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion, high-quality materials like stainless steel or aluminum alloy may typically ensure a service life of ten to fifteen years or more.
After five to eight years, corrosion, distortion, and other issues could arise if subpar metals are chosen.
Slider material:
Because of their exceptional wear resistance and self-lubricating qualities, high-performance engineering polymers (such POM polyoxymethylene or PA66 nylon) can be utilized for five to seven years under typical circumstances.
Within two to three years, low-quality plastic sliders may become significantly worn.
2. Working environment
Environmental conditions:
In ordinary buildings with dry and suitable temperatures, the slider bracket has a long service life. In humid environments (such as the seaside and chemical workshops), corrosive gases and humidity will significantly shorten the service life to 3-5 years.
Frequency of use:
High-frequency use (commercial centers, office buildings): many opening and closing times per day, frequent friction and impact, and the bracket life is about 7-10 years.
