DIN 9250 Features
Shape design:
Usually a toothed elastic washer or a split-petal design, which uses the toothed edge or split-petal pressure to increase friction and effectively prevent the bolt or nut from loosening.
The shape may be conical, corrugated or split-petal, and the specific design depends on the actual application.
Anti-loosening principle:
After the washer is tightened, the teeth or petals will embed into the connection surface, forming additional friction resistance.
Under the action of vibration or impact load, the washer prevents the threaded connection from loosening by evenly dispersing the load and absorbing vibration.
Material and treatment:
Material: Usually made of high-strength carbon steel or stainless steel to ensure strength and durability.
Surface treatment: Use processes such as galvanizing, phosphating or oxidation to improve corrosion resistance and suitable for harsh environments.
