Thread Type
DIN 912 hexagon socket screws are available in half-thread and full-thread types:
Full Thread: The thread extends from the screw head to the end of the screw, suitable for connections that require full grip, especially in thinner materials or applications where depth adjustment is required.
Partial Thread: The thread only covers part of the screw, usually the upper part of the screw near the head is a bare rod. Suitable for situations where higher shear strength is required, such as providing additional support and stability when clamping components.
These two specifications make it flexible for a variety of mechanical assembly and industrial fastening scenarios. Just choose the appropriate thread type according to the assembly requirements.
